This is where I’ve been for the last month. I was enjoying myself and my family too much to post. Anyway, I’m back from this paradise and ready & renewed to focus again.

One thing I said I would do during this break is take pictures. A lot of my work has to do with memory and physical traces, remainders left on bodies and spaces. I finally learned how to use layers in my photography and I’m kind of proud of this picture. It’s an experiment, part of my practice, but I can see it leading to a bigger project on memory traces and urban landscapes.

Pop Your Stress

With Boo Radley at our “pop your stress” event. For a couple of hours, I was plunged back into childhood as I rediscovered the joys of bubble wrap, silliness, and having no insecurity about approaching strangers.
